Best Food in Mykonos

As perhaps the most famous of all the Greek islands, Mykonos is profoundly dedicated to tourism – and that means lots of different options when it’s time to eat out! Time for my Mykonos restaurant reviews! Mykonos offers a broad variety of restaurants catering to every taste and budget, from cheap souvlakis and gyros to more elaborate Mediterranean food, which has been delighting palates for millennia.

There are a lot of eateries all over the island, but obviously the better part are located in the proper town or at the harbor, the two main parts of Mykonos. If you’re looking for fine dining, the beach is the place to go!

Here are some of our favorite restaurants in this Aegean paradise!

5. Service: 4

Although always booming with people, Interni is fairly quiet, which makes it a fantastic location for a chill date! The cuisine is deeply focused on seafood, from local Mediterranean flavors to more exotic preparations, such as South American ceviche. They also have 131 original cocktails!

The ambiance really does the trick, too: the service is very friendly and personal, the design is trendy and lovely, and there’s a very home-like feeling to the whole place. In all, one of my favorite restaurants in the island!

Hakkasan Ling Ling

1. Food: 4

2. Drinks: 4

3. Atmosphere: 3

4. Design: 4

5. Service: 3

Right at the center of the Mykonos (or Chora) town, Hakassan Ling Ling is part of the British-Chinese upscale chain, and as such, it maintains the high standards of the original Michelin star restaurant in London . The food and drinks are great, and there was clearly a lot of thought behind the design. However, and perhaps due to being part of a restaurant chain, the personal touch got lost somewhere along the lines, and the service isn’t really the best – in fact, we had some issues with the food (nuts, specifically) and the staff didn’t handle it very professionally.

Nice N Easy

3. Atmosphere: 4

4. Design: 3

5. Service: 4

This restaurant serves traditional Greek food in every sense of the word: all their ingredients are organic and local, from either Mykonos or the neighboring Greek islands, such as Crete and Naxos. You’re basically eating yummy Greek food the way it was intended thousands of years ago!

Right by the windmills, Nice N Easy is a great place to hang out with a fine meal while you’re enjoying the calming sounds of the waves. While the design is fairly simplistic, the restaurant makes it all up with a very accommodating and friendly staff and the amazing setting.

180° Sunset Bar

1. Food: N/A: No food here, focused on bar

2. Drinks: 4

3. Atmosphere: 5

4. Design: 4

5. Service: 4

Due to its amazing location, a 15-minute walk up the mountain (from town), 180° Sunset Bar is the perfect spot to witness one of the famous pink Mykonos sunsets. The boho chic feeling is definitely the highlight of this place, although the casual design, great service and delicious drinks definitely help! Filled with happy people dancing the night away under the Aegean starlight, this is a place to get your moves on or simply chill with delicious cocktails at a cushion, bench or staircase. It might just be a platform, but the owners have made the best of it!
