As one of the many jewels of the Mediterranean, Mallorca isn’t just an island to hang out in the sun: it’s also a place to enjoy one of the most iconic cuisines in the world! Here, I will give you some recommendations about my best restaurants in Palma Mallorca. There’s a lot of love for the Mediterranean diet in general and Spanish flavors in particular. It’s always a treat to return to Palma and enjoy a world of Spanish wines, paella, tapas and delights from Southern European cuisine. Palma is where most eateries are located, but you can still find a few great spots in different parts of the island. Here’s my list of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca!
My Best Restaurants In Palma Mallorca
Located in the trendy neighborhood of Santa Catalina, Patron Lunares is one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca. Combining the look of a small village with the island’s beach vibe, the eatery is beautiful to behold. Rustic design is king here, and so is the customer, thanks to the amazing service.
A fantastic hangout, this is one of my favorite spots to visit in Palma. It’s a particularly good choice for big groups looking to eat out in town, as the staff is very accommodating.
The wine here is delicious, and food puts it among the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca! I recommend starting out your meal with the DIY guacamole, which you can mix yourself, and then follow up with any of the fish dishes on the menu. The entrecôte is also delicious, and perfect for meat lovers!
Bahía Mediterráneo is Palma’s hot new fancy eatery, focused on high-end cuisine, from the Mediterranean and beyond. They serve seafood and produce from traditional local recipes and international delicacies including Argentinean beef. The entire menu comes from the cookbook of chef Klaus Brunmayr, for one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca.
We tried their famous Sunday brunch buffet, which was not only delicious and elegant but also offered a magnificent view over Bahía de Palma. Besides being one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca, it might just have the best view in town! Their terrace is fantastic to sit outside during the nicer days of the year. Plus, the restaurant becomes a nightclub after hours!
Spain is a country of flavors, and each visit deserves a wide variety of food options at all hours – and that includes tapas. Taste the Baleares in this incredible Food Hopping Tour of Patios, Palo & Cuina tour from GET YOUR GUIDE!
The breathtaking design screams luxury, and it’s originally from the 1930s. It’s been fully restored and now combining modern elements for a true feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is also a joy, with lovely live music for further immersion into the Bahía Mediterránea vibe.
The service, however, was slower than I expect from one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca. On the other hand, it may have been because it was a crowded Sunday.
Tahini Sushi Bar & Restaurant
An Asian oasis in sunny Puerto Portals, the Majorcan glamour spot where celebs make their appearance during the summer! Tahini Sushi Bar & Restaurant is a favorite from another trip, as there’s also a version in Marbella. The menu is as astonishing and delicious as in its sister eatery, and it’s one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca. Also, their options in sushi and gyoza cannot be missed, nor can their meat-based Teppanyaki!
The design is simple and beautiful inspired by Asia, with broad spaces, earthy tones and a lot of plants to liven up the place. Unlike the Marbella restaurant, there’s no balcony here – but it feels more like a hidden oasis!
Located right at the beach, Balneario Illetas has a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. A simple place with a very beachy vibe and rustic design, it’s a great spot to have a relaxed meal or have lunch if you’re hitting the local waves. As it happens with many places in Mallorca, it can get pretty crowded during the high season.
The food is okay but nothing exceptional, with a lot of fish and different types of paella. The level of service has varied on different occasions, but overall it’s pretty great, and the staff is very professional and flexible. But it is the location that is the best asset of this place. A perfect place to get into the right vacay mood! Above all, this is one of the best restaurants in Palma Mallorca.
That is the Best Restaurants In Palma Mallorca from my view. Above all, I have shared my experience here!
