FB Instagram Youtube Peru Archives - Travel with a Silver Lining

I have always dreamt about doing the Inca Trail and during our 81 Day Vacay, Peru was one of the countries
we visited. Trekking in the huge Andes, sleeping 4000 meters up among the clouds and finally reaching the
magic Machu Picchu was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. But it was not only the Inca Trail
and Machu Picchu that found the way to my heart. So did Peru as a country. The variety of nature ranging
from coastlines to deserts, to rainforests and mountains and volcanoes and sand dunes. The history and
impressive Inca heritage, Ceviche, Pisco Sours and a delicious fusion food culture, colorful hand crafts and las
but not least the friendly people. Peru has so much to offer and I will for sure be back to explore more parts of
this lovely colorful country!
