I guess her message is clear…. A desperate call

I guess her message is clear…. A desperate call for help & change. Australia is burning. Spring temperatures in January in Sweden. Proof of that we can not continue living like there is no tomorrow. That the world we have built is not a sustainable one, one that will last for our future children!⁣

Even though this thought is a bit over whelming at times and the more I educate myself in this matter the more complex it seems, I still feel excited about the time ahead of us. Change is something good. Change gives us new opportunities, makes us develop as persons. BUT INSTEAD of blame & shame, let inspiration, learning & curiosity lead our way!⁣
⁣
For sure, huge changes need to be made to the system we have built, by governments, industries and companies. Still, you and I can contribute. It does not have to mean that you have to turn your life upside down, stop eating meat, can never fly again. But what if we all started with some small steps. Once you have taken a few they usually leads to more in the right direction. Every little action counts. Let's trust the power of the many!⁣

This year, I will continue my trembling steps on the journey I started in 2019. Towards a more conscious life. So what do you say? Are you also ready for this adventure?⁣

One of my Favorite Instagram Spots along the walk from Bondi to Coogee! ⁣

This walk was a photographer's dream. Breathtaking view points, gorgeous beaches, surfers in action and natural wonders like the Bronte rock pool. Just make sure to be prepared for a quick weather change. 10 minutes after this shot was taken, we found ourselves in the middle of a rainstorm☔!⁣

I want to shine, get back that sparkle in my eyes, wake up full of energy. 2020, it is now time to kick off that new chapter of my life for real. To dare to go for my dreams, to make a difference, to inspire others. To live a life driven fully by passion, not performance💖!⁣

2019 did not turn out as I expected. I turned my life upside down and what I thought would take 2 months took 10... But this investment, giving my body and mind a break, to catch up after the last hectic years was the best investment I have done for a very long time..... even though, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING at times!!! ⁣
⁣
2020, I am sure it will not be easy. Knowing myself, I will have to work hard not to get swept away, making sure to maintain the balance in life I have now worked so hard for. I am sure I will fail many times, but to be honest failing has never scared me. Tough times makes us develop as persons as long as you dare to face the truth.⁣

So 2020 as soon as this flue leaves my body, I am ready to hit the road to see what you have to offer!⁣

From the bottom of my heart, I truly hope that the bushfires will end soon. Just thinking about what comes after, breaks my heart even more💔!⁣
20 years ago my grandparents' house was totally ruined by a fire. As always I was staying with them when home during breaks and I still remember the devastation & desperation in my grandfarther's voice when he told me over phone "Linda do not come home - there is nothing to come back to". Everything gone in just a couple of minutes. Memories of a lifetime and my grandfather's masterpiece, built from scratch by his own hands!⁣
Almost 2 000 homes have been destroyed by the bush fires in Australia. 2000 families that will have to start over. But in all this misery, it is amazing to see how we all come together in a situation like this. Every little action, every small donation counts✨! ⁣
