FB Instagram Youtube Summer Fashion: When Pink Turned Green! - Travel with a Silver Lining

Summer fashion time and this time I found most of my favorites in the Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm store!

I am a pink girl for sure. I have always loved pink since I was a girl. The shades varies with the season  but pink it is. So when I went for a shopping tour in Stockholm this spring, the aim was to find a lot of pink additions to my summer wardrobe. Given all pastell color focus this summer, I was imagining leaving for Moscow with a lot of bright pink masterpieces in my suit case.

However, this summer turned out to be a summer full of surprises. Not only did shirts make an entry into my summer wardrobe but also did my favorite color turned out to be one that I could not have imagined…. GREEN!!!

Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm – A Favorite Brand of Mine

Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm has for long been one of my favorite brands. I love the mix of Scandinavian simplicity and minimalism with more romantic and edgy elements of the Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm collections. Their tops with the lace details are some of the most used summer tops in my wardrobe. They fit perfectly to the beach but also for night out!

Time for some summer fashion shopping at Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm. The store was almost empty and we got the best service you could imagine at the store located at Stureplan. The girl showed my one piece after the other. I was looking for tops, dresses and also a new jumpsuit. Pink overload.

Then the girl looked at me and said that I should try the color of this season, green. I was a bit reluctant but she had a dress on in that color that was just gorgeous. So the change started. Turned out that this color was magic and fitted so well, even better than the medium pink shade that I had tried before. So I left Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm with three green pieces and no pinks…Still some great addition to my summer fashion wardrobe!

They have all become the favorites this summer. The top is so useful. I have used it at work with black pants, to jeans for a relaxed dinner or to shorts when you want to make your jeans shorts look a bit more stylish.

Perfect Match to My Jeans Shorts!

The dress from Samsoe Samsoe Stockholm  is prefect for a city chic look or with some high heels and cool jewelries for a night out. It has already traveled with me to Tel Aviv! Last but not least – the jumpsuit but that one I will show you in a later post!

The Shorts of This Summer Fashion

I love to combine more upper mass and premium brands with some great bargains from HM or Zara. Divided at HM is usually not the part of the store that gets my attention but this summer I found the cutes shorts here. Once again,  I picked the green/light turquoise ones over the pink option.  I have more or less lived in them since I bought them. My jeans shorts has for sure got competition!

My Favorite Outfit this Summer!

The outfit above is my favorite one for the summer fashion. Boho chick and stylish. Perfect for the beach or a day in the city. The romantic off shoulder top from VILA , my golden sandals from Rome and the cute tassel bag from Sayulita. Volá – dressed for success!

Sometimes stepping outside the box is good! This summer the pink girl turned a bit more green and no one is happier for this than me! A bonus is that this shade just looks better when you are a bit tanned – the perfect summer fashion shade!
