What to do in Moscow – Places to visit in Moscow

It was finally time for a long weekend in Moscow – at home! We were going to discover some exciting things to do in Moscow. Me and Fredrik left work Friday afternoon with a big smile, knowing that this was going to be a great weekend even though it was still very cold outside. We started the weekend with an early after work at 15 Kitchen Bar, our favorite restaurant and bar just around the corner from our apartment. When leaving we had to run home in pouring rain…

Things to do in Moscow – Gorky Park

We woke up earlier than expected, due to the sun finding its way through our bedroom window. And there and then was the summer. In just a couple of hours winter had turned into summer. A bit of a chock but a very positive one.  And summer it was all weekend long!

We spent this lovely weekend in Gorky Park together with all smiling Moscovites. Just strolling along the Moscow river, admiring May decorations (there is always a reason for some creative & colorful decorations in Moscow ).

We had the first pic nic in the sun, explored the deepest part of the Gorky forest and found a gorgeous little oasis!

And to end the weekend in the best way, we tried out a new restaurant, Ruski

354 meters up among the sky scrapers in Moscow City and apparently the highest located restaurant in Europe. I love roof tops and this view was something out of the ordinary.

Moscow by night

We got the most romantic table in the corner  with 180 view over Moscow. Sipping on a glass of champagne, watching day turn into night – well, it can not get much more romantic than this! The Russian food with a modern touch was delicious. Their meat pelemenis were the best I have ever tasted and the Beef Stroganoff was also top notch!

We stayed here all night long, reflecting over life with the bustling city life in front of our eyes! I wish all weekend would be like this!
